Many years ago (MANY years), I played in a regional band. One of the pieces we played, I believe, was called, “The Immovable Do.” That meant somebody was always playing a C (Do, from Do-Ray-Me…). Inspired by that experience and the sounds of a gong, this week’s sound meditation will have an Immovable Gong — an always sounding Gong, sometimes loud, sometimes soft, sometimes subtle, sometimes gentle, but always present. I hope it takes you where you want to be.
It follows my River structure and includes Tingsha Bell, Gong + Introduced Crystal Bowls, Flumie Gong, Gong + Rain Stick, Gong + Shruti, Gong Beat, Gong + Himalayan Bowls, Gong + Singing Crystal Bowls, Gong + Koshi Chime.
